Shreya Ghoshal after winning the 55th National Film Award
Shreya Ghoshal at the 55th National Film Awards. President Pratibha Patil gave away 55th National Film Awards on Wednesday evening. The winners include Prakashraj, Umashri, Darshan Zariwala, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal and Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

Shreya Ghoshal at the 55th National Film Awards
Shreya Ghoshal was presented, by the President of India, the National Film Award for the Best Female Singer at the 55th National Film Awards ceremony held at a grand function in Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.
Amidst cheers, Shreya Ghoshal sang the foot tapping "Yeh Ishq Hai'( Jab We Met) ; the song which fetched her this national recognition. By performing live at the Awards, Shreya created history for being the first singer ever to have performed at a National Film Award ceremony.
